Texas A&M FarmHouse History

In 2000, eight Aggies created a FarmHouse Interest Group at Texas A&M. The group grew and became a FarmHouse Colony in 2002. On April 17, 2004 the colony became a full chapter of FarmHouse, with 41 charter members.

Since 2004, the A&M chapter has consistently placed among the top few in the FarmHouse International Ruby Cup. The Ruby Cup is a competition between FarmHouse chapters for excellence in all areas, including Scholarship, Philanthropy, Spirituality and Brotherhood. In the 2010 Ruby Cup Texas A&M FarmHouse placed third, out of 33 chapters internationally.

A&M FarmHouse began its annual Totally Baldacious philanthropy event in the Spring of 2010. This event raises money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, while also increasing cancer awareness on the A&M Campus. Our second annual philanthropy event, "Daisy Duke Decathlon", began in the Spring of 2011.
